Job Summary
Prepare bakery products, coffee, and beverages to customer and vendor specifications. Stock, package, label, slice, and price bakery items while building displays and arranging products to highlight featured or seasonal offerings. Assist customers with product selection, make recommendations based on their needs, and complete special orders with follow-through. Receive and unload merchandise, check quality and counts, and handle damaged or spoiled products per policy. Maintain cleanliness, organization, and rotation of all areas, products, and supplies, ensuring accurate pricing and signage. Prepare the department for store opening and closing, participate in inventories and ordering, and notify management of any safety or customer service issues. Work a flexible schedule informed by business needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, while adhering to food safety policies and company values.
Required Qualifications
- All staff must complete and maintain all required food and work safety trainings and/or certifications
- Adheres to work and food safety policies set forth by the company and all local, state and federal regulatory agencies
- Consistently utilizes the DEI lens in work tasks and when working with other teams and stakeholders

- This position works at a medium* level. Required frequently and up to continuously to be on feet with a mix of standing and walking throughout shift. Sitting seldom required. Stooping, bending, crouching frequently required. Frequent use of hands and wrists including grasping and squeezing. Up to occasionally, dependent on location, required to climb stairs, step stool, and /or ladders
- *Medium means the worker can occasionally (1 – 33%) lift 50 pounds and can lift or carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds frequently (34 – 66%)
