Bakery Cake Designer

Decorate bakery items and assist customers with bakery orders by telephone and in person at the store. Maintain a positive store image through courteous, friendly service; ensure cake orders (including wedding cakes) are prepared per details, timelines, and production schedules; stay current on designs and trends; coordinate with the bakery manager on displays, weekly ads, and special needs; train and assist co-workers as needed; adhere to sanitation standards and maintain a clean, safe work area. The role involves leading when needed and delivering completed products to customers within the store environment.
