Bakery Cake Designer

Decorate bakery items and assist customers with bakery orders by telephone and in person at the store. Becomes a lead worker when needed, coordinating with co-workers to ensure customer satisfaction and timely production. Maintain department standards, sanitation, and safety; learn current designs and trends for wedding and specialty cakes, check order details and supply needs, and relay information to the bakery manager. Handle daily production scheduling, order supplies, deliver finished products, and ensure a positive in-store experience through friendly, professional customer service. Strong arithmetic and basic administrative skills (filing, data entry) are required.
