Job Summary
Decorate bakery items in a timely manner while developing daily orders for bakers and tracking retail production. Assist customers with telephone and in-person bakery orders, taking product orders at the counter and delivering wedding cakes on site. Check cake orders for details, order supplies, and communicate with the bakery manager regarding displays and special needs. Operate as a lead worker by instructing and reviewing part-time employees, participating in cross-training, and ensuring proper sanitation and department standards. Wrap products as necessary and perform other store-related duties as required.
Required Qualifications
- High school or equivalent experience
- Six months or less of similar or related work experience
- Must be physically able to exert up to 100 pounds of force (shared team lifting) occasionally
- Must be physically able to exert up to 50 pounds of force frequently
- Must be physically able to exert up to 10 pounds of force constantly
- Vision from less than 20 inches and more than 20 feet with or without correction
- Color vision
- Depth perception
