Bakery / Cafe Clerk

Greet customers, answer questions, and sell products by providing information on baked goods, gelato, and coffee. Prepare and sell coffee drinks like espresso and latte following prescribed recipes, while brewing tea and filling beverage containers. Handle cash transactions using registers, take special orders, and package, label, and price items for self-service. Maintain and fill bakery trays, cookie trays, gelato, and display cases; operate scales and organize restocking supplies. Adhere to sanitation and safety guidelines while assisting with cleaning duties. This role supports Glorioso's Italian Market, a family-owned grocery store and delicatessen on Milwaukee's lower East Side, offering discounts and provided aprons and hats.
