Job Summary
Provide exceptional service to all clientele while maintaining, cleaning, and keeping proper signage in the Bakery Deli Department. Assist with cleaning, filling display tables, wrapping product, and rotating and pulling merchandise. Follow all safety guidelines, company policies, and dress codes while completing required training. Lift 60 lb. boxes and exert 25-60 lbs. of force frequently, using knives and sharp instruments as needed. Work on floors that sometimes become slippery, requiring good vision, hearing, and the ability to stand, kneel, and reach. Report missing safety equipment immediately and communicate effectively with other departments.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 60 lb. boxes on occasion
- Must be able to exert 25-60 lbs. of force frequently
- Must be able to exert 10-20 lbs. of force constantly
- Must have dexterous use of both hands
- Must be able to stand and move about to various workstations
- Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull items
- Must be able to use knives and other sharp instruments utilized in the preparation of food items and/or removing product from boxes
- Good, corrected vision
- Good, corrected hearing
- Ability to stoop
- Ability to kneel
- Ability to reach
- Ability to work on floors that sometimes become slippery
