Job Summary
Provide exceptional service to all clientele and share knowledge of bakery deli goods. Maintain, clean, and keep proper signage in the Bakery Deli Department while assisting with cleaning, filling display tables, and wrapping product. Rotate and pull merchandise. Follow all safety guidelines, reporting any missing or non-functional safety equipment, and comply with company policies including dress code and name tag requirements. Complete all required company training for the Bakery Deli Department and stay updated on the latest training and knowledge while maintaining communication with other departments. This role requires the ability to lift 60 lb. boxes, exert 25-60 lbs. of force frequently, and use knives and other sharp instruments. Good vision, hearing, and physical stamina for standing, reaching, and working on floors that sometimes become slippery are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 60 lb. boxes on occasion
- Must be able to exert 25-60 lbs. of force frequently
- Must be able to exert 10-20 lbs. of force constantly
- Must have dexterous use of both hands
- Must be able to stand and move about to various workstations
- Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull items
- Must be able to use knives and other sharp instruments utilized in the preparation of food items and/or removing product from boxes
- Must have good, corrected vision
- Must have good, corrected hearing
- Must be able to stoop
- Must be able to kneel
- Must be able to reach
- Must be able to work on floors that sometimes become slippery
