Job Summary
Provide exceptional service to all clientele and share knowledge of bakery deli goods. Maintain, clean, and keep proper signage in the Bakery Deli Department. Assist with cleaning, filling display tables, and wrapping product while rotating and pulling merchandise. Follow all safety guidelines, report missing equipment, and comply with company policies including dress code and training requirements. This medium work requires lifting 60 lb. boxes, using knives, and working on floors that sometimes become slippery. Reports directly to the Store Director, Bakery Director, or Bakery Deli Director.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 60 lb. boxes on occasion
- Must be able to exert 25-60 lbs. of force frequently
- Must be able to exert 10-20 lbs. of force constantly
- Must have dexterous use of both hands
- Must be able to stand and move about to various workstations
- Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull items
- Must be able to use knives and other sharp instruments utilized in the preparation of food items and/or removing product from boxes
- Must have good, corrected vision
- Must have hearing
- Must have the ability to work on floors that sometimes become slippery
