Job Summary
Provide exceptional service to all clientele and share knowledge of bakery deli goods. Maintain, clean, and keep proper signage in the Bakery Deli Department while assisting with cleaning, filling display tables, and wrapping product. Rotate and pull merchandise throughout the store. Follow all safety guidelines, report missing or non-functional safety equipment, and comply with company policies including dress code and name tag requirements. Complete all required company training for the Bakery Deli Department and stay updated on the latest training and knowledge while communicating with other departments. Lift 60 lb. boxes on occasion and exert 25-60 lbs. of force frequently. Use knives and other sharp instruments for food preparation. Work in a medium-paced environment requiring good vision, hearing, and the ability to stand, reach, and move on floors that sometimes become slippery.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 60 lb. boxes on occasion
- Must be able to exert 25-60 lbs. of force frequently
- Must be able to exert 10-20 lbs. of force constantly
- Must have dexterous use of both hands
- Must be able to stand and move about to various workstations
- Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull items
- Must be able to use knives and other sharp instruments
- Must have good, corrected vision
- Must have hearing
- Must have the ability to stoop
- Must have the ability to kneel
- Must have the ability to reach
- Must have the ability to work on floors that sometimes become slippery
