Job Summary
Maintain a clean, organized, and full Bakery Deli Department by providing exceptional service to all clientele, filling display tables, and rotating merchandise. Assist the Bakery Deli Manager with proper signage, wrapping product, and cleaning duties while following all safety guidelines and company policies. Report any missing or non-functional safety equipment and complete required training. This role requires the ability to lift 60 lb. boxes, use knives, and work on floors that sometimes become slippery. You will report directly to the Store Director, Bakery Director, or Bakery Deli Director.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 60 lb. boxes on occasion
- Must be able to exert 25-60 lbs. of force frequently
- Must be able to exert 10-20 lbs. of force constantly
- Must have dexterous use of both hands
- Must be able to stand and move about to various workstations
- Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull items
- Must be able to use knives and other sharp instruments utilized in the preparation of food items and/or removing product from boxes
- Must have good, corrected vision
- Must have hearing
- Must have the ability to stoop
- Must have the ability to kneel
- Must have the ability to work on floors that sometimes become slippery
