Job Summary
Delivers fresh and appealing bakery products with courteous, knowledgeable service while maintaining consistent operating conditions. Creates a welcoming environment that increases customer confidence and loyalty by answering product questions, fulfilling special orders, and offering samples. Prepares, packages, labels, and displays items for sale while monitoring inventory levels and reporting discrepancies. Operates bakery equipment such as ovens, slicers, and fryers according to safety guidelines, ensuring proper temperature logs and adherence to food safety regulations. Promotes teamwork and collaborates with associates to uphold company standards for sanitation, compliance, and hazard reporting.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age
- Authorization to work in the United States or the ability to obtain the same
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check
- Strong customer service skills
- Exceptional interpersonal, motivational and communication skills
- Operate bakery equipment (e.g., slicer, oven, scale, knives, box cutter and pricing gun) according to company guidelines
- English
- Spanish
- High School / GED
- 0 -3 yrs minimum
- 250 lbs. lifting
- 35 lbs. lifting
