Job Summary
Delivers daily conditions meeting expectations for at-shelf product availability, freshness, quality, and value while offering product samples and answering customer questions. Prepares, packages, labels, and displays fresh products for sale, utilizing production planning tools to ensure accurate output and proper discarding or markdown processes. Maintains awareness of inventory/stocking conditions, reports discrepancies, and reviews products for quality and freshness. Ensures adherence to all regulatory compliance requirements, food safety guidelines, and sanitation standards, including executing product recalls and withdrawals. Operates bakery equipment such as slicers, ovens, and scales according to company guidelines while enforcing safety procedures and reporting hazards.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age
- Authorization to work in the United States or the ability to obtain the same
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check
- Strong customer service skills
- Exceptional interpersonal, motivational and communication skills
- Operate bakery equipment (e.g., slicer, oven, scale, knives, box cutter and pricing gun) according to company guidelines
- High School / GED
- English
- Spanish
- 0 -3 yrs minimum
- 250 lbs. lifting requirement
- 35 lbs. lifting requirement
- Occasional travel
- Varied shifts
