Job Summary
Delivers daily conditions for at-shelf product availability, freshness, quality, and value while offering product samples and assisting customers with requests or special orders. Prepares, packages, labels, and displays fresh products for sale, utilizing production planning tools to ensure accurate output and following discarding or markdown processes to reduce shrink. Maintains awareness of inventory stocking conditions, reports discrepancies, and ensures proper temperature logs are retained per food safety guidelines. Adheres to all regulatory compliance requirements, including USDA and COOL standards, executes product recalls, and inspects for unsafe conditions or hazards to report to management.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age
- Authorization to work in the United States or the ability to obtain the same
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check
- Strong customer service skills
- Exceptional interpersonal, motivational and communication skills
- Operate bakery equipment (e.g., slicer, oven, scale, knives, box cutter and pricing gun) according to company guidelines
- English
- Spanish
