Job Summary
Delivers daily conditions for at-shelf product availability, freshness, quality, and value while offering product samples and assisting customers with requests. Prepares, packages, labels, and displays products for sale, utilizing production planning tools to ensure accurate output and follow discarding or markdown processes. Maintains awareness of inventory conditions, reports discrepancies, and reviews products for quality and freshness. Ensures adherence to food safety guidelines, proper temperature logs, and all regulatory compliance requirements including USDA and COOL. Promotes teamwork, communicates department information, and collaborates to foster a safe, inclusive environment. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age
- Authorization to work in the United States or the ability to obtain the same
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check
- Strong customer service skills
- Exceptional interpersonal, motivational and communication skills
- Operate bakery equipment (e.g., slicer, oven, scale, knives, box cutter and pricing gun) according to company guidelines
- English
- Spanish
- 0 -3 yrs minimum
- 250 lbs. lifting requirement
- 35 lbs. lifting requirement
