Job Summary
Bakery Associates at Kowalski’s are responsible for baking, packaging, and preparing the bakery department for opening. The role requires effective time management, teamwork, and excellent customer service. Candidates should be able to maintain cleanliness, follow health and safety guidelines, and work independently. The ideal candidate needs to be available for early morning shifts, have strong attention to detail, and be comfortable interacting with customers. Extensive training is provided for all new employees.
Required Qualifications
- Availability to be scheduled 20-39 hours/week year-round
- Flexibility for scheduling
- Availability weekdays and SUNDAY plus either Friday or Saturday every week
- Holiday availability
- Ensure quality and safety of food
- Comfortable speaking to customers
- Strong attention to detail and multitasking
- Ability to work independently
- Interest in preparing and handling food
- Adherence to health codes and sanitation standards
- Interest in product knowledge
Desired Qualifications
- Food service/kitchen experience preferred
