Job Summary
Prepare, bake, and package all bakery items while assisting the manager with pricing, merchandising, and product rotation. Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary department by cleaning shelves, removing hazardous debris, and ensuring floors are free of spills. Stock, fill, and face products with accurate pricing, discarding outdated or spoiled items as needed. Receive, inspect, and log shipments for temperature and quality accuracy while answering phones to take special orders. Operate knives, scales, wrappers, and pallet jacks to weigh and label products. Adhere to all safety and health regulations, including maintaining a Food Handlers permit.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years Bakery experience

- and vertically/horizontally transferring items up to 40 lbs., from 5" to 36", for a distance up to 36 feet for up to 10 hours without mechanical assistance
- Adhere to all safety, health, and Weights and Measures regulations
- achieving and maintaining a Food Handlers permit
