Job Summary
Bake, fry, decorate, package, display, and stock bakery products according to the production schedule, dedicating 80% of your time to these core duties. Price, date, wrap, and bag items; fill, rotate, and merchandise shelves and displays. Notify the Bakery Manager of supply needs and assist with receiving and unloading merchandise. Handle spoiled or damaged products per guidelines while maintaining a clean, attractive, and well-stocked department. Follow all PPE, food safety, cleaning, and guest experience guidelines. Stand, walk, and lift up to 30 pounds frequently in a retail environment with varied temperatures.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents
- Basic mathematical skills
- Detail Oriented
- May be required to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- The associate is required to stand and walk for extended periods of time and may bend, stoop, twist and turn frequently
- While performing the duties of this position, the employee is subject to a typical retail store environment (varied temperatures) and is exposed to outside weather conditions
- The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate
- Travel requirements vary by assignment
