Job Summary
Greet customers with prompt, courteous service and assist in receiving, unloading, and verifying merchandise against vendor invoices. Prepare baking mixtures using established recipes, pan frozen products, and operate ovens, mixers, and other kitchen equipment to bake bread and cakes. Maintain inventory control by rotating products first-in-first-out, taking stock, and managing supply levels to minimize waste. Keep display cases, coolers, and work areas clean and organized while adhering to all health, safety, and sanitation regulations. Promote items on the public address system and notify management of security or property issues. Work a schedule based on store business needs.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age
- knowledge of baking techniques
- ability to work as a team member and interact positively with customers
- ability to read, write, speak, and understand English, with the ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work a schedule based on the business needs of the store location
- Authorized to work within the U.S.
