Job Summary
SeaWorld Orlando is seeking enthusiastic Baker, Production Bakery Ambassadors to produce pastries, desserts, and other baked goods for park guests. You will follow and measure recipes, mix, scale, and bake a wide variety of products, set up and break down equipment, operate commercial kitchen equipment, and work as part of a team to deliver excellent guest service. Responsibilities include general housekeeping and cleaning, practicing safe work habits, communicating professionally with Ambassadors, Vendors, and Guests, and performing other duties as assigned. Requirements include culinary arts education, 1-2 years bakery production or deli experience in a high-volume bakery, strong communication and customer service skills, ability to lift 50 pounds, flexible hours, and ability to work in varying indoor/outdoor conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Previous culinary arts education
- 1-2 years of bakery production or deli experience
- Experience in a high-volume bakery environment
- Energetic, willing to learn and work as part of a team with minimal supervision
- Basic knife skills and knowledge of cake decorating
- Ability to carry, push, pull, and lift 50 pounds
- Knowledge of basic COVID-19 food and beverage safety requirements
- Strong communication, customer service, multi-tasking and time management skills
- Ability to work flexible hours/shifts
