Job Summary
Baker at Hy-Vee responsible for baking products for orders and replenishing displays, while delivering friendly customer service. Role includes preparing and baking items, inspecting product quality, managing production timelines, operating bakery equipment (mixers, ovens, proof box, sheeter), overseeing freshness and labeling, assisting with inventory and orders, and leading bakery clerks as needed. Requires strong customer focus, teamwork, basic arithmetic, safety and sanitation practices, and the ability to handle physical tasks (lifting up to 50 pounds). Education: high school or equivalent; experience of 6 months to 1 year in related bakery work. Employment contingent on pre-employment drug screen. Locations: Fitchburg, WI, United States.
