Job Summary
Prepare quality food items for patients and customers across all venues while adhering to established recipes and visual standards. Consistently produce assigned products for retail operations, patient meals, and special functions, ensuring safe food handling practices comply with HACCP and regulatory requirements. Communicate potential problems with the supervisor immediately when necessary. This full-time role operates from 5:00am to 1:30pm with rotating weekends, requiring the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform essential physical tasks such as standing, walking, and stooping.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Must be able to effectively communicate information and respond to questions
- Must be able to consistently produce quality products according to established recipes and standards of quality
- Must be able to ensure all items are visually and consistently attractive as observed by the supervisor on duty
- Must be able to communicate potential problems with supervisor on duty when necessary
- Must be able to ensure safe food handling practices are followed according to HACCP and regulatory agency requirements
- Must be able to ensure production of assigned products is completed in a timely manner for retail operations, patient meals, and special functions
- Must be able to stand
- Must be able to walk
- Must be able to sit
- Must be able to stoop
- Must be able to reach
- Must be able to lift (limited to 35 lbs. for clinical staff and to 50 lbs. for non-clinical staff)
