Job Summary
Baker responsible for product development and recipe creation in a seven-day operation. Key duties include preparing items to standards, inspecting quality during/after baking, receiving and storing bakery products, loading/unloading the oven, taking special orders, wrapping/displaying goods, maintaining a safe, clean kitchen per health guidelines, operating kitchen equipment, and performing miscellaneous duties. Requires a valid trade qualification, at least five years of similar experience, proficiency with a scratch bakery program, initiative, and strong pastry/cake-decorating exposure; ability to meet tight deadlines in a high-volume production environment. Availability for weekends and public holidays. Reporting to Bakery Manager.
