Job Summary
Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality and presentation standards, and food prep checklists. Handle ingredients for cooking including portioning, chopping, and storing. Safely use baking tools and equipment, monitor temperatures, and report issues to management. Maintain hygiene and sanitation, clean and set up/break down workstations, and ensure compliance with safety policies. Build positive relationships with team, communicate clearly, and maintain professional language. Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds. Japanese language proficiency required to interact with kitchen staff and customers; perform other reasonable duties as requested by Supervisors. Must meet Marriott International equal opportunity expectations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Less than 1-year related work experience
