Job Summary
Baker I at Dollywood is responsible for producing and decorating high quality bakery items (bread, muffins, cookies, cakes, pies, danish, etc.), acting as a quality assurance inspector, enforcing production schedules, and presenting products to guests through an observation window. The role involves ensuring proper labeling, dating, and rotation (FIFO), training Hosts in food prep and portion control, managing inventory and sanitation, and maintaining a clean work area. The candidate must be willing to work across Dollywood properties, lead and train Baker II/III, and comply with health, ServSafe, and Start Fresh procedures while delivering excellent guest service and upholding the Dollywood culture of Lead with Love.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two years of bakery operation experience
- Able to successfully complete ServSafe Manager Certification within 30 days of start date
- Must take Start Fresh training and implement safety aspects
- Must successfully complete a post-employment offer background check and drug screen
