Job Summary
Prepares baked goods according to recipes and production specifications, including breads, pies, cakes, and cookies; assists with production planning to meet daily requirements; ensures proper food preparation, sanitation, and safety; maintains records for waste and inventory; ensures proper presentation and serving temperatures; performs cleaning and maintenance of equipment and workstation; interacts with customers and relays concerns to supervisors; adapts to peak production and service demands; complies with company/OSHA safety standards and follows shift schedules; may work weekends and varying shifts; campus-scale bakery role at University of Houston.
