Job Summary
Prepare large quantities of breads, pastries, and cakes by following existing recipes, measuring ingredients, and kneading, rolling, and cutting dough. Monitor oven temperatures and mixing machines, then decorate, glaze, and apply toppings to finished goods. Operate slicing, cutting, and wrapping equipment while ensuring all surfaces and tools meet health and safety standards. Clean and maintain baking equipment and utensils throughout the shift. This role supports Provider Food Service's bakery operations with a pay range of $16.90 to $18.00 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of measurements
- Ability to read and follow recipes
- Basic cake decorating skills
- Knowledge of plating cakes and desserts for meal service
- Knowledge of bakery supplies and commercial kitchen equipment
- Must frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
