Required Qualifications

• •Fifth year college or university program certificate
• •Two to four years related experience and/or training
• •Equivalent combination of education and experience
• •Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• •Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
• •Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
• •Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
• •Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
• •Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
• •Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
• •Must be at least 18 years old
• •Have a safe driving record
• •The ability to obtain a Missouri class E or Arkansas P designated drivers license
• •The ability to work well with a team
• •The ability to prioritize
• •A sense of urgency
• •A real concern for guest satisfaction
• •Possess a solid background in breads, pastries, cakes and sauces with the knowledge of cake decorating techniques including wedding cakes
• •Handle knives excellently
• •Operate all kitchen equipment in a safe, efficient and effective manner
• •Be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
• •Be able to assume control of the kitchen in the absence of a Sous Chef
