Job Summary

Baker role within Tim Hortons Baking Program focusing on product preparation, adherence to freshness and shelf-life standards, maintaining an appealing display, and delivering strong customer service. Responsibilities include filling orders quickly, handling service recovery by addressing guest concerns, following SET principles (Smile, Eye Contact, Thank You), supporting speed of service targets, listening and apologizing for guest issues, and following restaurant policies and sanitation guidelines. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring inventory, preparing products to minimize waste, recording production and waste, responding to frontline needs, assisting in serving guests, taking product temperatures and logging data, maintaining a clean production area, and upholding health and safety practices. Must be 16 years of age or older and capable of working in a fast-paced restaurant/front-of-house and kitchen environment with attention to sanitation and standard operating procedures.
