Job Summary
Responsible for greeting guests, providing accurate wait times, and escorting them to tables. Maintain cleanliness and organize the front-of-house area. Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff for smooth service. Engage with guests, anticipate their needs, and address any concerns. Must have at least one year of experience as a host/hostess in a related environment, excellent problem-solving and organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
Required Qualifications
- One or more years of recent and related experience working as a host/hostess, preferably within a hospitality, restaurant or gaming environment
- Demonstrated experience working in the food and beverage industry
- Demonstrated experience performing within specific deadlines or under pressure
- Demonstrated experience problem solving, organizing, and prioritizing work
Desired Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations and cashiering skills
- Effective and diplomatic oral and written communication skills using English
Additional Requirements
- Must wear a gaming license if in possession of one
- Attendance: reports to work as scheduled, on time, and ready to work
- Completes sidework, balances drawer at shift end, and assists bussing tables as needed
