Job Summary
Set up, operate, and maintain packaging machines to produce quality baked goods while monitoring product specifications and weight. Conduct quality checks, troubleshoot equipment issues, and perform machine changeovers within standard timeframes. Complete sanitation of lines and equipment, including cleaning slicer blades and bagger blowouts, and ensure compliance with GMPs and food safety protocols. Document data into Quality Assurance Forms and the Redzone application, record waste and downtime, and transport waste to recycling. Report equipment malfunctions, product out-of-specifications, and accidents to supervisors, and assist in training new employees.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to read, write, comprehend and communicate orally and fill out production and quality assurance reports in English
- Ability to understand basic math
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals written in English
- Microsoft Word, Excel and SharePoint proficient
- Ability to work safely and comply with all safety regulations
- Ability to operate various manufacturing equipment, follow specific direction, and other duties as assigned
- Lockout/Tagout(LOTO) certification provided by Company
- Report to work physical and mentally ready to do the job in a substance free environment
- Required to work daily overtime, weekend work and various shifts depending on your position
