Job Summary
Greet, assist, and thank customers in a prompt, courteous manner while accurately packaging purchases and expediting groceries from the checkout lane to the customer's vehicle. Unload items onto the conveyor belt, check merchandise prices, restock supplies efficiently, and collect shopping carts from the parking lot. Load groceries into the customer's car and maintain a clean, orderly work area free from safety hazards. Report faulty equipment, theft, shoplifting, or policy violations to management immediately. Work varied schedules and utilize equipment including pallet jacks, scales, and case cutters to support the checkout process.
Required Qualifications
- Meet legal and company policy age requirements to perform job functions.
- Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently.
- Ability to understand and follow English instructions.
- Authorization to work in the United States or the ability to obtain the same.
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check.

- Frequently required to carry, push, or lift up to 100 lbs and pull up to 150 lbs.
- Occasionally required to sit, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach at waist level or overhead, and climb up to 10 ft.
- May be exposed to working in indoor, outdoor, cold, heated, and wet/humid working conditions.
- Frequently required to twist back and/or neck, walk on a slippery or cluttered floor surface, work with hazardous equipment and be exposed to sharp objects.
- Occasionally required to be exposed to loud noise, skin irritants, nuisance dust, fumes and sprays, hazardous cleaning solutions and other toxins.
- Required to work varied schedules.
- Will be required to utilize knives, case cutter, wrapper, scale, pineapple corer machine, ordering machine, stock cart, unilift, reddi-racks, pallet jack, unicarts, skids, double deckers, conveyors, conveyor stands, compactors, coolers, ice machines, pricing gun, crate opener, baler and cleaning supplies and equipment.
