Job Summary
Oversee the design, implementation, testing, and maintenance of Baggage Handling Systems in airport environments to ensure efficient, safe, and compliant operation. Assist in planning component layouts and coordinate with vendors and stakeholders during installation and commissioning. Perform Factory Acceptance Testing, Site Acceptance Testing, and operational readiness checks while identifying and resolving operational issues. Maintain up-to-date technical documentation and ensure adherence to IATA standards and safety protocols. Requires hands-on experience with PLC/SCADA systems, barcode/RFID scanners, and automated sorting technology. Prior involvement in large-scale airport projects is a strong advantage.
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on experience in BHS installation, commissioning, and maintenance
- Familiarity with PLC/SCADA systems, barcode/RFID scanners, and automated sorting technology
- Understanding of baggage flow simulations and system throughput optimization
- Knowledge of airport operations and BHS software platforms
- Strong technical and analytical skills
- Problem-solving under high-pressure environments
