Job Summary
Facilitate project success by planning, organizing, and controlling installations at various customer sites while supervising subcontractors and skilled trades. Direct daily operations, ensuring adherence to schedules, safety standards, and quality assurance through inspections and toolbox talks. Manage project budgets, prepare estimates and cost analyses, process shop drawings, and coordinate long-lead material deliveries. Act as the primary point of contact for customers, responding to inquiries and complaints while reviewing subcontractor invoices and approving payments. Maintain compliance with State and Federal codes, enforce safety regulations, and prepare periodic reports and job cost analyses. Read blueprints, layout systems, and assist customers with design requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma, supplemented by journeyman's training in the skill trades, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ten years of field experience
- Five years of experience supervising trade employees
- Experience as a journeyman tradesman in the performance of responsible conveyor activities
- Must be able to travel between projects
- Must be able to work flexible hours
- Capable of maneuvering through an industrial conveyor system requiring climbing access ladders, negotiating screen guards lifting and carrying objects up to 40 lbs
- Able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Communicate with others through talking/hearing; reading/identify/assess forms and correspondence
Desired Qualifications
- 30 hours of OSHA safety training
