Job Summary
Baggage Handlers are responsible for loading and unloading passenger luggage and cargo, operating baggage handling equipment, sorting luggage for proper routing, and ensuring the timely delivery of baggage. Key responsibilities include inspecting baggage for damage or security risks, following safety guidelines, maintaining cleanliness in the baggage area, collaborating with security personnel, and completing training sessions on procedures. Successful candidates must possess a valid driver's license, be flexible to work various shifts, and meet physical requirements including lifting and prolonged standing.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Must have a valid state-issued driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Ability to use electronic devices including IPads/Tablets, Computers, and Mobile Devices
- Pass a background check and drug screen
- Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable)
- Ability to work any day/shift, including holidays, within a 24/7 operation

- Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds
