Job Summary
Baggage Cart Attendant at Winnipeg Richardson International Airport providing baggage cart and drop assistance, guiding passengers through parking and terminal areas, loading/unloading luggage, offering wayfinding and flight information, and maintaining safety standards. Must be physically capable of standing for long periods, lifting up to 70 pounds, and working a 24/7 shift schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays. Bilingual French and English is an asset; experience in customer service and knowledge of airport operations preferred. Training and AI-assisted screening may be used in hiring; candidates must be willing to obtain RAIC and provide a criminal record check upon request. Compensation expected around CAD 16.75–17.30 per hour, with full-time employment at Winnipeg, MB location.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum High School diploma or Grade 12 education
- Fully bilingual in both French and English an asset, Basic French needed
- Minimum of one (1) year verifiable experience in customer service or any equivalent
- Eligible to work in Canada
- Physically capable of performing all duties as set out in the Job/Position Description
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid RAIC
- Stand, lift, bend, push and pull on a frequent basis and for extended periods
