Job Summary
Conduct scratch-made bagel preparation across multiple kitchen stations while speaking to guests about menu offerings, seasonality, and ingredients. Support the team during peak and off-peak service by pitching in wherever necessary, multi-tasking and moving in the kitchen for extended periods. Maintain a minimum standard "A" letter grade by following Department of Health and PopUp Bagels food safety standards, while demonstrating professional maturity and upholding anti-discrimination policies. Work in a fast-paced culinary environment with flexible part-time or full-time hours, lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally. Enjoy complimentary bagels and schmears daily as you advance your culinary skills in our award-winning brand.
Required Qualifications
- An eye for detail and solving challenges
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- The willingness to roll up your sleeves and pitch in wherever necessary
- The ability to perform the physical requirements of the position (frequently lifting up to 25 pounds and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds)
