Bag Catcher

Catch bags as they come off the machine, inspecting for flaws in quality, assembly, print, or other problems, and reject those that do not meet standards. Place proper numbers of bags into sleeves in the press, inspect bales for proper sealing before banding, and place labels on bales to ensure they are marked correctly and upright. Perform roll changes, maintain ink levels, and safely clean print when the machine is not running. Keep accurate production and quality reports, ensure guarding is in place, and adhere to all safety rules, PPE policies, and food service procedures. Meet production targets and report machine adjustments or repairs to the supervisor.
