Job Summary
Backup Specialist/Systems Administrator responsible for installing, maintaining and upgrading internal computer hardware and software systems, controlling user access and passwords, and proposing/system enhancements to improve reliability and performance. Will monitor usage and performance, work in a dynamic, hybrid-friendly, 24x7 environment with on-call shifts, and operate across Windows and Linux multi-platform IT infrastructure. Requires 2-3 years of backup platform experience (preferably Veeam) and NAS administration (quota management, permission assignment, monitoring). The role offers opportunities for growth, learning, and certifications with Microsoft, Google, and Amazon as part of ongoing professional development.
Required Qualifications
- Technical degree or Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or related fields
- 2 to 3 years of experience administering backup platforms, preferably Veeam
- Minimum 1 year of administrative experience with NAS, including: Management Permission assignment Quota management Monitoring and optimization
- Experience in IT infrastructure in multi-platform environments (Windows, Linux, virtualized environments)
- English (desirable)
