Job Summary
Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of enterprise backup and data protection services to ensure resilience and recoverability. Manage and optimise Commvault backup solutions, overseeing configuration, monitoring, and resolution of backup and recovery issues across hybrid environments. Support scalable backup strategies aligned to business requirements and RPO/RTO objectives while driving cyber resilience practices including secure storage and incident response. Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver governance, compliance, documentation, and continuous improvement across data protection services. This role requires an Australian Citizen with a Baseline security clearance and experience administering Commvault within enterprise environments.
Required Qualifications
- Australian Citizen
- able to gain and maintain a Baseline level security clearance
- Experience administering and optimising Commvault backup and recovery solutions within enterprise environments
- Strong understanding of backup strategies, disaster recovery principles, and cyber resilience practices such as immutability and ransomware protection
- Technical capability across hybrid environments, including on-premises, virtualised, and cloud platforms (Azure or AWS)
- Experience with automation and scripting (e.g., PowerShell, REST APIs, or infrastructure-as-code) to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort
- A collaborative and structured problem-solver with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and engage effectively with stakeholders
- Must be able to meet International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) requirements
