Job Summary
Backroom Team Lead responsible for supervising the store department, delegating tasks, training on standard operating procedures, ensuring adherence to processes, and providing legendary customer service through needs-based product recommendations. Duties include maintaining visual presentation standards, handling customer issues with sound judgment, performing department-related administration, and assisting in other store areas as needed. Required Qualifications
- Two or more years of supervisory experience in a sales or service environment is preferred
- Open availability – this position will be required to work store opening and closing shifts, as well as on weekends
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
- Ability to evaluate customers’ needs and make recommendations based on needs
- Ability to provide superior customer service and exceed customer’s expectations
- Ability to use good judgment and logic
- Experience in a related field or outdoor lifestyle
- Knowledge of Bass Pro Shops & Cabela’s specific products is an asset
