Job Summary
Execute receiving and merchandising standards while orchestrating truck delivery and prioritizing merchandise processing onto the sales floor. Train and mentor associates on merchandising principles, monitor team productivity, and coach as necessary to ensure adherence to store plans. Maintain a clean, organized backroom area, properly tag and secure merchandise, and rotate back stock for easy replenishment. Engage with all customers to ensure an excellent experience, communicate priorities with management, and address safety, recycling, and shrink reduction goals. Work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year retail experience
- 6 months of leadership experience
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
- Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Capable of multi-tasking
- Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations
- Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors
- Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation
- Able to train others
