Job Summary
Execute receiving and merchandising standards while orchestrating truck delivery and prioritizing merchandise processing onto the sales floor. Ensure associates complete tasks according to the store plan by monitoring productivity, coaching as necessary, and rotating back stock for easy replenishment. Maintain a clean, organized backroom area, uphold merchandising signage standards, and ensure compliance with recycling and hazardous waste programs. Train and mentor associates on processing principles while engaging with all customers to maintain an excellent experience. Communicate effectively with management and the Coordinator on Duty to address priorities and provide progress updates.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year retail experience
- 6 months of leadership experience
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
- Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Capable of multi-tasking
- Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations
- Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors
- Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation
- Able to train others
