Job Summary
Execute receiving and merchandising standards while orchestrating truck deliveries to prioritize processing merchandise onto the sales floor. Ensure associates complete tasks according to the store plan, monitor productivity, and coach as necessary. Engage with all customers to maintain an excellent experience, keeping the backroom area clean, organized, and compliant with safety and recycling programs. Train and mentor associates on merchandising principles, rotate back stock for easy replenishment, and coordinate with the Coordinator on Duty to ensure efficient goods flow. Work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends, lifting heavy objects as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year retail experience
- 6 months of leadership experience
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
- Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Capable of multi-tasking
- Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations
- Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors
- Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation
- Able to train others
