Job Summary
Execute receiving and merchandising standards while orchestrating truck deliveries and prioritizing merchandise processing onto the sales floor. Ensure associates process efficiently by training on merchandising principles, monitoring productivity, and coaching as necessary. Maintain a clean, organized backroom area by rotating stock, upholding signage standards, and ensuring proper tagging and coding of all items. Engage with customers to maintain an excellent experience and communicate effectively with management to address priorities and provide progress updates. Uphold compliance with labor laws, safety programs, and recycling initiatives while supporting shrink reduction goals. Work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends, lifting heavy objects, and responding to changes in direction.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year retail experience
- 6 months of leadership experience
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
- Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Capable of multi-tasking
- Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations
- Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors
- Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation
- Able to train others
