Job Summary
Execute receiving and merchandising standards while orchestrating truck deliveries to prioritize merchandise processing onto the sales floor. Engage with all customers to maintain an excellent experience, ensuring the backroom area remains clean, organized, and compliant with recycling and hazardous waste programs. Train and mentor Associates on merchandising principles, coach team productivity, and rotate back stock for easy replenishment. Monitor adherence to store plans, labor laws, and safety protocols while supporting shrink reduction goals. Work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends, lifting heavy objects, and responding to unexpected changes in direction.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year retail experience
- 6 months of leadership experience
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
- Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Capable of multi-tasking
- Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations
- Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors
- Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation
- Able to train others
