Job Summary
Execute receiving and merchandising standards while orchestrating truck deliveries to prioritize processing merchandise onto the sales floor. Engage with all customers to maintain a clean, organized backroom and ensure associates complete tasks according to the store plan. Train and mentor Associates on merchandising principles, monitor team productivity, and coach as necessary to support shrink reduction goals. Rotate back stock for easy replenishment, verify merchandise is properly tagged and secured, and ensure compliance with recycling and hazardous waste programs. Work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends, lifting heavy objects, and responding to changes in direction.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year retail experience
- 6 months of leadership experience
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
- Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Capable of multi-tasking
- Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations
- Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors
- Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation
- Able to train others
