Backroom Coordinator

Execute receiving and merchandising standards while orchestrating truck deliveries and prioritizing merchandise processing onto the sales floor. Engage with all customers to ensure an excellent experience and maintain a clean, organized backroom area. Train and mentor Associates on merchandising principles, monitor team productivity, and coach as necessary. Organize back stock rotation, ensure proper tagging and coding of goods, and rotate merchandise for easy replenishment. Communicate priorities with management and Associates, provide progress updates, and address training needs. Uphold merchandising philosophy, signage standards, and organizational cleanliness. Ensure compliance with recycling and hazardous waste programs, adhere to labor laws, and support shrink reduction goals. Work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
