Job Summary
Design end-to-end Python applications focusing on performance, scalability, and security, while building backend services that integrate Large Language Models and Retrieval-Augmented Generation architectures. Lead technical mentorship for the MIRAI Program by overseeing intern projects, conducting workshops on AI systems, and driving initiatives to enhance student outcomes and program reputation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features via Agile methodologies, manage code reviews and CI/CD pipelines, and troubleshoot complex stack issues. Coordinate with stakeholders on effort estimates and hiring needs while monitoring intern performance and curriculum improvements. This role requires proficiency in Python, AWS/GCP, Docker, and SQL/NoSQL, with 40% dedicated to program leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Proficient in Python and related libraries
- Deep knowledge of Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI
- Expertise in developing RESTful APIs and integrating with third-party services
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes
- Strong background in database and cache systems - SQL and NoSQL
- Working knowledge of CI/CD, unit testing frameworks, and code versioning tools (Git)
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices
- Experience in mentoring and managing a team of developers
- Ability to manage sprints, timelines, task assignments, and client communication
