Job Summary
Architect scalable backend systems to support Canopy's growing oncology platform, optimizing performance for high real-time data volumes. Enforce best practices for development, testing, and deployment while mentoring engineers across various experience levels. Drive technical vision to ensure secure, resilient infrastructure that enables continuous, patient-centered care solutions. Lead strategy and knowledge-sharing within a hybrid team in Sarona Tel Aviv, with three days in-office weekly. This role leverages expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript and cloud services to align clinic revenue with improved health outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of engineering & architecture experience in enterprise software
- Expertise in backend development (5+ years, preferably JavaScript/TypeScript, NodeJS)
- Proven experience designing scalable, performant technical platforms
- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS/GCP) and database optimization
- Strong leadership, collaboration, and communication skills
- Must be able to travel to client sites, our New York office, or other destinations
- Must come into the office 3 days per week
