Job Summary
Build backend services, APIs, and workflows for the AI Neobank app, supporting products across insurance, payments, wallets, savings, investing, and travel. Design reliable systems for user accounts, transactions, partner integrations, reconciliation, and notifications while integrating with banks, payment gateways, insurers, and data providers. Improve system reliability, observability, security, and performance to handle millions of users across Southeast Asian markets. Work with product and mobile teams to ship customer-facing journeys quickly, ensuring systems are practical, auditable, and ready for regulated financial products.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of backend engineering experience
- Strong fundamentals in APIs, databases, system design and production debugging
- Experience building scalable services and integrating third-party systems
- Good understanding of security, reliability, data quality and operational edge cases
- Able to make practical trade-offs between speed, quality and risk
- Comfortable working with product, mobile, operations and business teams
- Strong English communication
- Must be based in Korea
- English is our main working language across global teams
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in fintech, payments, insurance, lending, banking or regulated products is a strong advantage
